• Location information: approximate or precise device location, including GPS coordinates, timestamps, route or movement information, and arrival at or departure from an assigned site, when you grant location permission.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, IP address, app or browser activity, and diagnostic information.
• Communications: information included in support requests, feedback, and other messages to us.

2. Background Location

With your permission, the Rengy app collects precise location data in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use. Background location enables active field-service tracking for assigned solar projects, including recording route and visit progress, verifying arrival at and departure from project sites, and helping authorized teams coordinate service delivery.

Background tracking is used only for users and workflows for which these field-service features are enabled. The app requests permission before collecting background location. You can deny or revoke permission at any time in your device settings. If you do, features that depend on continuous location may not work, but you can continue to use other available features.

We do not sell location data. We do not use background location solely for advertising or unrelated analytics.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and secure the Services
• Connect homeowners with verified solar vendors
• Process quote requests and manage solar projects
• Provide field tracking, site-visit verification, coordination, and project-status features
• Communicate with you about your account or requests
• Provide support and troubleshoot technical issues
• Improve the Services and understand their performance
• Comply with law and protect users, Rengy, and others

4. How We Share Information

We may share information, including location where necessary:

• With authorized members of your organization or project team for field coordination and project management
• With solar vendors or service partners where needed to fulfil a quote request, site visit, installation, or related service
• With service providers that support hosting, maps and location services, analytics, communications, security, or customer support, subject to appropriate restrictions
• When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services
• As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information, including location records, only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain project and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our processes and applicable law.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also revoke location permission through your device settings. 8. Account Deletion

You may request permanent account deletion through the app. When the request is completed, we delete or anonymize the account and associated personal information, including stored location data, unless retention is required by applicable law or is necessary for a legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute resolution purpose.

Deleted information cannot be recovered through your account. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten in the ordinary course.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent.
